Sportradar has opened a new office in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, as part of its strategic expansion plans for the LatAm region.
With Brazil expected to launch its regulated market in January 2025, experts project double digit GGR growth, from the 18.4bn BRL ($3.18bn) in 2023 to 50.5bn ($8.75bn) in 2029.
By opening its São Paulo office, Sportradar will be able to tap into this growth and facilitate deeper corporate relationships with regional players.
The firm has already been active in Brazil, working with sports betting operators and supplying them with AI-driven fan engagement solutions that drive scalability. It has guided regional sports federations across football, volleyball, and basketball towards monetising their data and safeguarding sporting integrity.
